Delete your Meta data

Request deletion in PostSmooth

  1. Sign in and open Accounts → Meta review and data controls.
  2. Under “Delete connected platform data”, choose Facebook, Instagram or Threads.
  3. Type the requested confirmation and select “Delete platform data”.
  4. Keep the confirmation link. It shows the completed request without exposing account details.

What is removed?

The selected platform's connected profiles, access tokens, linked analytics, platform publishing history and related integration access are removed. Your own authored posts and uploaded media remain in PostSmooth, with provider identifiers detached; pending posts return to drafts. Deleting data here does not delete posts already published on Meta.

Disconnecting an account only stops access; it is separate from deleting stored platform data. If you request deletion through Meta, Meta can send a signed callback and receive a confirmation link. Older connections may need to be reconnected so their app-scoped owner identity is registered.

Cannot sign in, or want your entire account removed?

Email support@postsmooth.com from your registered email address and identify the platform or account you want deleted. We may need to confirm ownership. Never send passwords, access tokens or app secrets.
